Last Day in Xining

Today is our last day in Xining - tomorrow we fly to Guangzhou to finish all the paperwork on the US side.  The last day we will be in the same city where Nola grew up, where her foster family is and likely where her birth parents are.
Today was a free day for us, we should receive Nola's passport around 4PM today from our guide.  We were not able to go to the Temple or Monastery today, there seems to be a bit of unrest between the Tibetan people and the local police so we were advised not to go.  We did a bit of exploring today trying to find fingernail clippers for Nola - her fingernails are long and sharp and caused a few scratches while playing.  We also tried to find some scotch tape.  We were not successful on either search but walked through a mall and quite a ways in the underground tunnel stores.

Some pictures from playtime in our room and the area around our hotel in Xining.
