Patience!
Waited all weekend so excited to make a call to USCIS today and speak to our officer (who is very nice) to hear that our 800 had been approved. Called once but got transferred to the wrong person. Called back about an hour later, and was asked by receptionist why I was calling again since she had transferred me once. Nicely let her know I was transferred to the wrong person. Finally get to speak to my officer. She hasn't looked at our paperwork today, said to call back tomorrow morning. Now, I am wondering if the call in the morning part is to remind her to look at our paperwork and approve us.
So hoping we would have everything wrapped up before the Chinese New Years holiday starts and have our Travel Approval, but looking like we might not make it.
Fingers crossed for a much more successful call to USCIS tomorrow!
