I800A Approved

Our I800A Application was approved on 7/30/2012!  Yeay, we are approved to adopt from the US government, and about 10 days faster than we were expecting based on tracking from other adoptive parents online.   Jacob is going to drive to Raleigh on Tuesday (8/7) to have the NC authentication completed.  We will overnight it to a courier in Washington D.C. who will have it authenticated at the US State Department and then the Chinese Embassy.

We should have everything completed and back to us by next Friday (8/9) and to our agency by Monday, August 13th.  They will then send all our dossier paperwork to China for review there.  Then we will wait for a LID (log-in date).

So happy to be done with the paperwork this time around!!
